5.2 Water & Wind Analysis
Water
Water can be at the same time an asset and a threat, and more precisely I learnt a lot on the ways of water managements, very important in Netherlands. I was able to notice throught this course in which degree, the water which participates to the brand image of Netherlands (through its canals for example) represents one of the principal threats for the country.
Another impressive instance about water is the water management, which is a significant issue especially in the Netherlands in a long period. Dutch have had a successful experience. Civil engineering offices are busy with many water management tasks.

Wind
Windmill is a beatiful work by people, not only series of windmill formed the landscape in several country, but also the function of using the sustainable energy. In this century, people are able to collect the wind force and direction in different per period. Though it is hard to predict the wind force or direction very precise in each location or each city because various actors, however, the statistics can provide a general idea of wind that how can people use it or prevent it. Caculating the benefit of wind energy and choosing the best location and direction for windmill is a important strategy for using the wind energy in the future.
